Don Hall: When the Levee Breaks TUS Co-Director Don Hall was recently featured in an engaging interview-based article in American City & County, which situates the Transition Movement in the broader context of climate change, atmospheric carbon dioxide and sea level change. With federal leadership failing to rise to the challenge, he says, it's up to cities and counties (and local Transition groups!) to lead the charge. Read more here.
A Note to Our EU Subscribers! The UK-based Transition Network recently took massive action to comply with the new European privacy law known as GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), requiring permission to maintain contact with people who signed up for their emails. If you reside in the EU, please notify us! We'll soon be requiring EU subscribers to opt in as well.
Website Volunteers Needed ASAP! We are making HUGE progress on the long-awaited redesign and relaunch of our website, www.transitionus.org - and we're calling on our wider community of tech-savvy change agents to join and support the project! We need volunteers to help transfer over our many years worth of information and resources, as well as testers to try the new site before its launch this fall. We'll also be empowering bloggers to create content on an ongoing basis. Please reach out if you're willing to be a website volunteer or tester!
