Howdy Friends in far and not so far flung locations!
We are starting a new chapter of TUTT. DreamWrights discontinued the program. After 20 years of Shakespeare under someone else's roof, I've reached the embrace new challenges stage. So Gayle and I and a small group of TUTT stalwarts have been working to bring Upstart Arts to the community. TUTT maintains its nickname and becomes The Upstart Twilight Theatre. We have performances of The Merry Wives of Windsor scheduled throughout the country July 27-August 5th. We have also been accepted into the first York Fringe Festival and are going to be bringing Shakespeare to the streets of downtown. Upstart is now the theatre branch of Lonely Pond Productions, Inc. and I'm very excited to have the opportunity to finally do the theatre I want when and where I want. Bringing art to public spaces is the catchy one sentence version, which actually covers exactly what we want to do and have been doing for twenty years. But we do need some start up funds and are currently running a Kickstarter to raise them. Because the world needs more laughter and more Shakespeare and I'm not done proving that yet ; )
Please consider kicking in money and/or spreading the word. Either would be appreciated. All of you know how much this means to me. I hope that means something to you.
Thanks for your support over the years. It helps more than you know.
