Market stall, leaflets etc...

In the discussion after episodes 5 & 6 yesterday evening, we decided
to go forward with the idea of hiring a market stall in the Farmer's
Market every now & then, as consciousness-raising idea. I spoke to
the Market management today & whilst I can't book an exact stall
defnitely yet, three weeks from today (i.e. the weekend before Good
Friday) is looking good for our first date. It costs £15 for the
morning, which I will hope to raise by selling some handmade bits &
bobs made from recycled materials. I have a display board we can use;
we'll need some leaflets so I will use the recipe ideas Nicky came up
with a couple of months ago, and a temporary logo that I use on a
Ravelry group, just to get us off the ground. We can print off some of
the Transition literature too, and we have volunteers to contribute
display articles on gardensharing and backyard poultry. We thought
that giving over a bit of table to a Seed Swap would catch people's
attention nicely, & if I get my act together I might manage to do some
Morsbags too. I will try to arrange some publicity via the Stour &
Avon; Dave, would you be able to put something up online & do us a
poster of some kind, mentioning the words "Seed Swap?" And does anyone
has any other ideas to contribute? Also It would be great to have some
extra helpers; Dave H has already volunteered but the more, the
merrier & the better we'll be covered.

I'm prepared to sponsor this also; I'll be in Wimborne for a day or
two near the end of the month (sometime inside 19-22nd) and can pay
back someone then directly, or bank account/paypal transfer :-)
