Hi Everyone,

The book "On Tyranny" by Timothy Snyder studies and deconstructs the rise of fascism, Nazism and authoritarianism in 20th century Europe. It then applies this analysis to the current American slide towards authoritarianism. It offers coping and resistance strategies. In addition to the standard 2021 edition, there is a graphic novel version which I read, which is a fairly quick read. Reading this book gave me insights into the current assault on democracy and helped me feel less hopeless.
