GREETINGS ALL---

WHO cares if it's snowing and raining today?  Dang-it we say it's SPRING, and it's time to get busy creating a fantastic 25th Anniversary Earth Day Parade Celebration!

An updated Eday 2014 News, complete w. how-to become a community partner, complete workshop info and volunteer offerings will be made weekly until parade day.  And don't forget to mark your calendars for our 25th Annual Grand Traverse Earth Day Parade Day: Saturday, April 26th!

Consider a shift or two in our workshops next week and jump on the parade-making bandwagon w. us!

Earth Day Parade VOLUNTEER offerings for week of April 1st:

Join the 2014 Earth Day Parade Building crew and organizers!

Beginning next week, April 1, 2, and 3rd we have a bunch of places for passionate, curious, friendly, responsible and creative adventuring folks to join us at the Grand Traverse Circuit for three (3) days of puppet and mask-making!

Check-out the special parade-making job positions we are looking to find the right person(s) to fill, and you can sign-up on-line!

Daily set-up and Clean-up crew
Cardboard Collector/Runner
Parade Workshop Artist Assistants

SPRING BREAK and APRIL Parade building workshops!

Presented by Little Artshram AT The Grand Traverse Circuit and The Great Lakes Children's Museum:

LOTSA’ fun and amazing art-making happens each year in preparation of our beloved, annual Earth Day Parade. This year is our 25th Anniversary! Join Little Artshram and friends, at the Grand Traverse Circuit, April 1-3, for a three-day (2 workshop sessions each day) opportunity to build your own mask/costume and help in the building of a Magical, Music-Making, Eco-Trojan-like Horse for the parade!

SPRING BREAK SCHEDULE April 1-3: Choose from six (6) workshops: Tuesday through Thursday, April 1-3; with two sessions offered each day: 10-12 Noon and 1 to 3 PM.

SAMBA DRUMMING CLASSES, April 7th and 21st, 7:30-9 pm with Deep Blue Water Samba School, held at the Grand Traverse Circuit.

AFTER-SCHOOL TUESDAY SCHEDULE: The Great Lakes Children’s Museum will be hosting three (3) after-school workshops on Tuesday, April 8th, 15th and 22nd, from 4-5:30 pm

SPACE IS LIMITED SO RESERVE YOUR PLACE in any of these special SPRING BREAK OR AFTER-SCHOOL TUESDAY WORKSHOPS, by calling 231-735-8370.

REMEMBER: It usually takes three (3) visits to the Earth Day Parade Workshops to complete your mask/costume.
