Hello Friends of the GT Earth Day Parade....

MANY THANKS to the 2014 Eday Parade folks who helped bring it into being.  See a list of names here, and if for some reason we forgot to list you, please do let us know:  http://www.littleartshram.org/?p=189589

Sharing two important follow-ups to this year's GT Earth Day community event--- for those of you may have been directly involved or have let us know that you are interested in getting involved next year....

FIRST:
We will hold this meetup at The Great Lakes Children's Museum on either: Wed., May 21st or May 28th. @ 5:00 pm

Please respond to this email and let us know your availability. We would like as many parade artists/musicians, sponsors and organizers to attend and sit in circle to discuss what worked, what we can improve upon, and ways in which to keep the Earth Day Parade happening.

AND: We are in need of storage space for the Earth Day Parade puppets, supplies and materials. Ideally this would be located in Traverse City, preferred first-floor, easy access in/out (w.o. disturbing land or bldg. owners), as well as, dry and mouse-free space---approximately 15' x 15' of space---and tall enough for about 10, 12' puppets and storage boxes of supplies.

Perhaps someone has a spare room, or storage space above their garage, or is willing to help fund a monthly rental-storage space in Traverse City or very near-by?

P.S. The "Inn" or puppet holding space---from one Earth Day event to the next, has been mainly donated, managed and supplied privately by Little Artshram staff or sponsors since we began the tradition of building BIG puppets and hosting the event. The present studio space is no longer available to these dear ole' puppet friends as of May 30th, and so we are putting out the call.

THANKS!

Sorry for delay .... Only received one RSVP and it slipped my radar. We will meet tomorrow at GLCM @ 5...bring receipts, request for and amount of donation and volunteer hours, and your valuable feedback focusing on these points: what worked, what did not, how we can improve.  We will be following an  evaluation format that includes prep planning through tomorrow's meetup so that little Artshram can create a complete report with recommendations notes for 2015 which includes a financial statement/final budget.
Thanks all.
