Hey all,

It was great to meet new folks and spend time with others from our community this weekend at the NMSFC and to have such a permaculture-focused event with Daphne Miller, Mark Shepard, Ben Falk, Ken Mudge and others "head-lining" the learning tracks and presentations.

We are also fortunate and excited to share that these learning opportunities will continue this Spring and Summer, in the Traverse City region! There will be permaculture design course beginning soon (March 19th--meeting once a month)with a team of four practicing designers/teachers from the Great Lakes region: Rhonda Baird, Kate Heiber-Cobb, Bridget O'Brien and myself....as well as, Toby Hemenway and Dan Kitteridge!

We are getting together to share permaculture info, happenings and a FREE introduction that we are calling a "Permaculture Primer" THIS COMING Saturday, February 6th, w. folks in the TC/Grand Traverse and Northern Michigan area. 

Here's the general info on this upcoming Saturday Permaculture Primer gathering w. a couple of flyer attachments:

This FREE 3-hour primer is a great introduction to permaculture, ideal for those who are curious and want to know more before committing to a full Permaculture Design Course, or are simply interested in learning what permaculture has to offer.

We will cover permaculture ethics and principles, why we need permaculture, show real world examples of permaculture projects and present information on our upcoming 2016 Traverse City Permaculture Design Certificate Course.

This is FREE to the public, although we are taking donations for a scholarship fund.

We do request that you RSVP ahead of time, as space is limited.
