Subject: South Otago Forest & Bird Photographic Competition

Hullo
South Otago Forest and Bird are hoping to repeat the success of their 2010 inaugural photographic competition and would appreciate it if you could circulate information about this year's event to your members.

The 2011 competition has the theme: Conservation ? People and Projects. Photographs should illustrate the ways in which New Zealanders are working for conservation, although don?t necessarily need to include people.

A few possible suggestions:
Beach clean-up day
Boardwalk on a fragile ecosystem
Effluent disposal
Fenced & planted riparian strip
Penguin monitoring
Raising native butterflies
Rubbish recycling
Revegetation project
Signing an environmental petition
Solar heating
Reusable shopping bags
Tracking & trapping pests
Weedbusters at work

The attached entry form gives more information, but if you have any further questions please get in touch either by email or you can phone me on (03) 415 8532.

Thanks
Jane
