The Transition Town Spring Eco Festival is on Sat 6 Oct at the Badminton Hall Surrey Park, 10am-4pm. Please help us spread the word about this year's festival which has lots of great new stalls, lots of activities for children, lots of interesting information including talks, workshops and demonstrations.
This year's festival will include a talk by Ken Calvet on his five acre footprint and his aim to 'Run on the Sun,' Steve Butler who will talk about light pollution, Grant Meikle who will talk on Hectors Dolphins as well as talks about Greyhounds Down South, Composting toilets, the Top 10 Holiday Park and bokashi.
We have some great giveaways this year including a trip on the Wairaurahiri Jet boat, an EcoStore gift pack, bokashi kit, an organic tshirt & ball and a subscription to Good magazine.
This year's stallholders include a real range including building, energy, community, transport, water, waste, gardening, health and food.
Entry is only $2 per person, under 2 free - there will be things to buy on the day including food.
This festival is organised on a very small budget and volunteer time. To help us promote the festival widely please forward this email to your contacts and help us make this year's festival the biggest yet!
Thank you very much for your support.
Cheers
Becs, Pat, Terry, Jordan and Phil
