A group called Coal Action network Aotearoa ( CANA) is holding a summer festival near Mataura next Jan over the weekend of 20- 23 Jan with a community open day on Sunday 22 Jan at Mataura Community Centre- 10am to 4pm.
We are holding workshops,seminars,guest speakers... and would like your group to provide stalls for local crafts, produce eg veg,whatever you usually have at your monthly day.
We are hoping to have musical entertainment... children's activities.. and of course need food for sale.
We will advertise what you have available etc.
This is to be a waste minimisation day so hope all your container/wrappers can be recycled along with food scraps for composting etc....THis probably means paper bags, ... and no glad wrap.
All profit is yours.
We are hoping to have about 200 at this national camp and especially families with children.
Then there will be Southland people...
it seems like a great opportunity for your groups/stall holders.
