[Transition Town Invercargill]

Hi

Transition Towns Invercargill has been working on getting access to some land for a community garden. This garden will be allotment style eg you have your own patch to grow what you wish.

The land is located on the outskirts of North Invercargill. It is a big piece of land so plenty of room for lots of gardens of a good size.

There are some facilities provided including toilet and a small shed. And possibly a tunnel house which will need some repairing. There is some work involved in getting the ground prepared for planting.

But there is lots of scope!

We are keen to get an idea of how many people would be interested in having a plot in the garden. Please reply to this email if you would like to be involved.
