[Transition Town Invercargill]

Hi again

This Sunday 20 Nov from 10.30-3pm we will be having a working bee at the new Transition Towns Communiy Garden. The garden is located in the old Crops for Southland site, next to the council nursery and opposite the entrance to Andreson's Park on the outskirts of North Invercargill.

The garden will be an allotment style garden ie you will have your own plot to plant your plants in. Because there are some established plants etc already in the site there will also be a place for a wild/foraging type garden.

 

If you would like to come along on Sunday to help tidy the place up and/or to have a plot in the garden, please contact me by email on phil...@xtra.co.nz. Please bring along your own tools if possible and we would be keen to use a rotary hoe if anyone has one available.
