Would somebody be interested in answering this nice young man?

Although I swear we've heard from him before...

I am Paul Daugherty, a graduate student in the Department of Geography at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, and am conducting a research project to learn more about the spread of the Transition movement across the United States, and to determine whether urban design plays a role in the spatial distribution of Transition. This questionnaire will provide data to analyze this phenomenon. My graduate advisor, Dr. Denise Blanchard, Professor of Geography, will supervise this study.

This questionnaire will not ask any personal information as all questions are concerned with the built environment and experiences with the Transition movement. All information collected through this questionnaire will remain anonymous.

Participants will answer eleven questions that are both multiple choices and open ended. This study benefits all Transition initiatives in the United States as it may explain if and how urban design affects the Transition process.

If you have any other questions, comments, or concerns please contact me, or my advisor, Dr. Blanchard. Thank you for taking the time to participate in this research. Your responses are very important to this study.  Please e-mail Paul Daugherty or Dr. Blanchard if you would like a copy of the final report, due December of 2012.

We would like to emphasize again that your participation in this study is voluntary and the responses you submit are strictly confidential.  Your Transition initiative will never have access to your individual responses.

Information on this project is available on the Transition Network Forum under Researchers. A copy of the research proposal and more information on the project can be found on the project website.

Hi Bill,
I will give it a go. I did a google search on my email accounts to see if Paul Dougherty had sent a request before. Did not find any.
