Long time, no hear from. Carol Hart and I spoke briefly over the phone yesterday and agreed that it would be good to get the old gang together again, to reminisce, catch up, critique, and otherwise chit chat over viands and ale on some balmy springtime eve in the near future. Would anyone else care to join us in this enterprise - say, by participating in a potluck at some agreed-upon site, at some agreed-upon time? April is getting rather full for me, although I can generally do evenings.  If we're going to meet here, I'll need some lead time (say, a week or two) to let Lesley know -- she's not easy about hosting folks at short notice.

I can't do May 3 (going to a "late" Earth Day party), but anytime during the following week. I don't see any reason why SOs shouldn't participate as well. The purpose of this (in my mind) is just to catch up on what people are up to.

I got called into jury duty for Friday, so that evening is out for me. As for Saturday evening, I am booked for another event. It looks like I am out of luck this time around. I hope everyone has an enjoyable time catching up at Don's.

Btw - I had wondered why I hadn't received any emails from the group since April 20th about the get together. Then, I got the one this evening and looked through the conversation thread. It turns out that the recent emails were addressed to me using the SFVTimeExchange address. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to that email account. If we use the TSFV Steering Committee email address (  transition-sfv@googlegroups.com ), I think it reaches everyone now.  My personal email address is dsec...@gmail.com

I'd say that if significant others are included, we should probably do it a little later than 5 - say, 6:30 or 7? I'd originally suggested a potluck of some sort and can contribute a dish or two, but I can do snacks and drinks as well. Anyone else?
