That'd be OK by me, although if you're speaking for TSFV, we
should get together occasionally to make sure we're OK with what
"we're" saying.
Here's a suggestion: the 2050 report
(
http://www.la2050.org/site/assets/files/1454/la2050_report_021913.pdf)
doesn't say anything about climate change, peak oil, or prolonged
droughts. Also, the goals at
http://www.la2050.org/goals/ are
uniformly oriented to "creating excellence", rather than "adapting
to increasing challenges".
The report does, however, give a long list of people who
contributed to the report. You might want to contact a few of
them, and ask them whether they feel that likely declining
availability of water and energy, and increased frequency of
extreme weather events, might affect the indicators and goals. If
they're uniformly in denial, it might put you/us in an awkward
position: try to work within the "BAU framework", or risk summary
rejection of your application.
Good luck, and stay in touch,
Don
P.S.: I did find the report interesting for the "picture" of our
current situation in the various categories.
