So...

You know how we used to complain (often loudly) how we never seemed to be able to get the message in front of the youth or (even) minorities?

I'm going to speak in front of a small group of 14 today, including professors from Chicano & American Indian Studies + MEND + a number of other local activists, about Transition & it's principles and how to ignite the population to create a resilient and amazing San Fernando Valley.

They were already starting this path; I was invited because they think I seem to know something.

Wish me luck. :)

Next week, I'll be having breakfast with an artist who wants to get me in front of a couple of other groups to do the same. Will let you know what comes of that!

And, if you're interested, will definitely tell you what the heck happens tonight (it grew from dinner for 3 to meeting in a conference room @ CSUN.

Respectfully,

Your friend & occasional lunatic

Bill

Bill,

You go, guy!  And yes, I'd like to hear your progress.

Well that was fun :)

4 Professors (Chicano/a Studies x2, Art, Climate Change), the youth coordinator from MEND, 4 activist mothers, 2 family members, a CSUN student and me.

Many more details to come later.

Here's the notes as promised. Am compiling a list of local resources and books to bring people up to speed. Very productive time. Notes welcome! Also welcome are folks who would like to meet up with the coalition. :)

Happy holidays to one and all!

Best
