We have SIX new fruit trees ready to plant in the garden this Saturday – thanks to our local chapter of the CRFG for this generous donation!

Please join us to learn at first hand the full process of planting a new fruit tree, including how to make a gopher basket, and what size and shape hole to dig for good results.

Mark your calendar for the grafting workshop on February 24th – details attached.

We had a table at the Seed Swap last weekend, and got to talk to lots of people about the garden – welcome to all the new members of our email list!

We also picked up some seeds we’d like to sow in the garden – maybe you could help with that too?

Garden Calendar:

Saturdays     – Volunteer work-party {9am-12noon}.

Feb 24          – Grafting Workshop {10:30am-12:30pm} – Learn the fine art of apple grafting with Dave Beamer and the CRFG.

Hope to see you in the garden soon!

Best regards,

Hugh
