Saturday in the Garden - October 5th - is BIG…
THIS MONTH’S EVENT – Falling into Winter – we have a great panel lined up for a discussion on the kind of problems gardeners can be faced with at this time of year; how to stop them happening in the first place, what to do if they happen despite your best efforts. We request a suggested donation of $10 from attendees. (This replaces the event on ‘pesky pests’ that we had thought we’d be hosting.)
PLANT SALE – Our wonderful plant sale continues – it’s a vital part of our fundraising program to Keep Our Garden Growing. See flyer below.
CROP SWAP & POTLUCK – the last crop swap and potluck of 2019. Come and share food with us.
9am – gate opens for volunteers
10am – plant sale and crop swap starts
10:30 – panel discussion starts
12pm – potluck lunch
1pm – time to go home
Garden Calendar:
Saturdays – Volunteer work-party {9am-12noon}
October 5 – Panel Discussion on Fall and Winter gardening {10:30-12noon}
Don’t miss our big day in the garden – you can even come over and do some gardening!
Kind regards,
Hugh
