Eating Your Weeds is Good: Fall Foraged Food Tasting
Wednesday, October 23
5-7 pm

Join Kula Farm worker Lisa Bagwell and other locavores (people who eat local food) for a tasting of foods harvested from the wild. Dishes will include foraged mushrooms, autumn olive, greens, roots, persimmon, apples and pears. This event is kid and dog friendly, byob and otherwise relaxed. The tasting is open to all (it is not necessary to bring a foraged dish).

The Power of Art-The 2nd Annual Social Justice Arts Event

Wednesday, November 6

5:30 - 10 pm
House of Independents

Join Pamela Caputo and Create Core Courage (createcorecourage.art) for a night of art, music, poetry, film, and theatre. 

  More than 100 works by local visual and performing artists will be showcased at the 2nd Annual community-wide event. Meet and mingle with the artists and the activists versed in the issues that inspired them.

Children's Art and Issues start at 5:30pm.
Cocktail hour begins at 7pm.
Taste a delicious array of offerings from some of Asbury Park's best chefs.
