REPORTS:
June 2, Sandy Point, Roger: Got parking passes so people wouldn’t have to pay. We had 35 participants. Kathe Hebert, long time West Haven resident who lives nearby came and gave background history of the Sandy Point area. Two suggestions for another time: bring trash bags to help clean up the beach as we walk, and invite someone from the CT Audubon Society to join us to answer the many bird questions that came up during the walk.
Rain garden at FUUS still needs more plants. In general is working well.
Ended Meeting with a reading from “Living on the Earth.”
Adjourn: 9:15 PM.
