-Walk Saturday February13, Gazebo in Edgewood Park at 11 AM, walk West River back Valley St. Stop at Botanical Garden: Roger FOEP will have a taping of the maple trees by Naomi Zenzer at 1 PM. So people on the walk can stay for that if interested.
-Small Business in Bioregion: Roger New Haven trying to support Eat Local at our local restaurants.
-Urban Nonprofit Network and CPEN: Doreen Abubakar
-Mill River Urban
Waters: Lynne
Another grant opportunity for the Mill River Watershed. Only $100,000
available. Lynne submitted a letter of intent for the rain barrel
projects. Also mentioned West River
projects, Citizens’ Science, also past educational activities with WRWS. Steve
Ham, a local film maker, is making a documentary about the Mill River. There is a film on Vimeo that we should
watch. Suggest to Steve to include the fishing site at James St. or near Grand
Paint. Film starts at the headwaters of the Mill River in Cheshire.

-Update English Station: Aaron A letter will be sent to PURA summarizing the community concerns about the remediation of the English Station and why it is so far from completion. There have been no Community meetings in over a year.
- Rock 2 Rock – Launch Party March 6, 2 PM. April 10 Day of Service. GiveGreater goals need to be submitted.

Composting: Domingo is looking for another site for composting. SCSU looks like a strong possibility. They have the space and an interest in environmental issues. Trying to impress on SCSU that they can decrease their carbon footprint with a program like this. Talking with the Office of Sustainability.
