-Reuse Panel, November 17, at EcoWorks new space 89 State St North Haven. Who should be on the panel? Joe DeRisi, Steve King, Domingo. Suggested time 2 hr. (2-4 PM), panel 3 PM

-Fall Farm and Garden Institute, Saturday, November 10, 9 AM - 3 PM

-Herbal Friends, Nov 20^th, Juniper, 7 pm, FUUS.

-Rain Barrel Workshop changed to November 10 from 10 to 12AM.

-Evidence of Flossing, Poetry book by Jen Payne. Maria connected with Jenn by email, we are proposing January 26 potluck.

-Holiday Bazaar December 1, 11 to 4, set up to happen on Friday.

-Expression Monday, November 12. 2nd Monday

 

Walks

-Westville 2nd Saturday, November 10, 1 PM meet at Manjares.

 

Movies

-The Human Element - NYC Showing, film maker said that they may make the film available for school showing as part of educational outreach-Lynne emailed them but they have not responded yet

Birders - came out in 2013, connecting with the Urban environment. About obsessive birders.

New Haven Bird Club and Audubon Group might be cosponsors. Netflix and Best Videos have the movie.

 

Books

-Living on the Earth (Bill Duesing) restarting a book group a book based on his radio talks.

 

Reports

-Bioregional Garden- plan for changing width of plots to 3’, later cover with leaves and plastic. Garden potluck to be held on Friday Dec 7^th.

-Mill River Watershed Plan was reported on by Lynne, Flo McBride has a DVD on the watershed that is worth seeing.

-Lynne reported on the Conference on Green Infrastructure: Science, Operation & Finance, Friday, November 2, 9 AM - 4:45 PM.

-Domingo reported on the -Grassroots Project Presentations, October 22.

-Roger reported on his Full Moon walk of Oct 24^th.
