Friends,
Here is my scan of an article in the current issue of *Permaculture Activist
*. It provides a little different slant on what we're headed into.
*
*
This is an abridged version of Chapter 4 "Collapse Mitigation," originally
published in *Reinventing Collapse: The Soviet Example and American
Prospects* by Dmitry Orlov, ©New Society Publishers and reprinted here with
permission.
In this article it is clear that American prospects are NOT as good as they
were for the Soviet Union 20+ years ago. And there are many more issues to
deal with than what we typically focus on in the Transition Town process.
But then, of course, while there are national issues, the only things we
have some control over are all local.
Enjoy!
Peace and love,
Tom
