PLASTICS RECYCLING

The purple dumpsters at Orange County recycling drop-off sites are now accepting #4 plastics as well as #2 and #5.

(Remember, at curbside you can only recycle bottle-shaped plastics -- defined as items with a neck narrower than their base -- it doesn't matter what recycling number is on the bottom. If it's not a bottle, and it has a #2, #4, or #5 recycling number, it can be recycled in the purple dumpsters at the drop-off sites.
