Dear Tobias Ellwood,

  I support the Climate & Ecology Bill campaign run by Zero Hour.

Zero Hour are holding a drop-in launch event next Tuesday 18th Oct to introduce their new Ambition Gap report, which sets out in clear and concise terms why the government’s net zero strategy falls far short of what’s needed to limit warming to 1.5°C. The report has been peer-reviewed by leading scientists.

When: Tues 18th 11:00-12:00. 

Where: Room N, Portcullis House, House of Commons

Simon Oldridge of Zero Hour will give a very quick overview of the report, with world-leading scientists Dr Nathalie Pettorelli and Dr Paul Behrens - but the main focus will be on an informal Q&A session. 

If you are short of time, please do still drop in at any point and collect your copy of the report and perhaps stop for a photo. The report is designed to be a handy jargon-free reference guide for you, linking to the best available science.
