Hi everyone,

It's almost time to begin the Transit Data Feeder pilot!

The webinar for initial training is scheduled for next week. I am emailing to check in on stakeholder availability for that week.

These are the transit agency pilot participants:
* Road Runner Transit (Ignacio, CO)
* Lee County Transit (Ft. Myers, FL)
* Park City Transit (Park City, UT)
* Santee Wateree Regional Transportation Authority
* Chatham Area Transit

I propose to hold the webinar on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of next week. If you are one of the agencies listed above, please follow this link to mark the times that you are available:
http://www.scheduleonce.com/MP.aspx?param=VD0xLk09MTkzNzcuVT0zODYzMQqualqual

Please mark your available times by Thursday, so that we can schedule the two-hour webinar by Friday.

To participate in the webinar you will need a modern internet-connected computer. We will be using www.gotomeeting.com. You will receive more details in a scheduling confirmation email. An outline for the webinar is attached.

Cheers,
Aaron

If you represent one of the transit agencies who are participating in
the Transit Data Feeder pilot (IDEA/FTA-Funder Google Transit Data
Tool for Small Agencies project), please read this email and respond.

These are the agencies who have signed up to participate in the pilot
project to use the newly-developed web-based tool to publish data for
Google Transit:
* Park City, UT (Ken Cashel, Darren Davis)
* Lee County Transit (Michael Hosting)
* Santee Wateree Regional Transportation Authority (Michael Jonas)
* SUCAP (Peter Tregillus)
* Chatham Area Transit (Timamu Hakim)

This is an update on scheduling the webinar to train agencies to use
the Transit Data Feeder software.

At this point the only scheduling responses I've received are from
Peter Tregillus and Michael Jonas so it is not possible to schedule
the training webinar. Additionally, my mother is has been scheduled
for brain surgery on Friday. I am traveling to visit her, so this is
not a good week for me to conduct the webinar.

Let's try again, this time with the goal to schedule sometime on the
week of April 12-16.

Here is a link to a new scheduling site:

If your agency is in the list of pilot agencies, please follow the
above link and indicate your schedule availability by Thursday. Let
me know if you have any questions.

Cheers,
Aaron

One request I forgot to make: When indicating schedule availability,
please indicate times in the Pacific time zone.

Timamu:

You may use the Transit Data Feeder software to locate your bus stops on a map if you do not currently have long/lat for your bus stops.

Please indicate your availability for the webinar using the link I sent previously.  I will be calling stakeholders who have not provided their availability information this morning to offer a friendly reminder.

Thanks Fabian.  I don't think I ever got the original email.  Anyway, I am out of the office until Wednesday.  Could you please key Aaron know for me that I'm available Thursday after 1:30?   I appreciate it.  Wayne Gaither might attend as well if he's free.

Thanks, Mike
