Shapes.txt in TransitDataFeeder?

Im trying to make OpenTripPlanner work, to do so i need a GTFS file of a city, but the GTFS that Transitdatafeeder creates has no shapes.txt...

any ideas please?

Anybody has experience with OTP?

Technically speaking, I don't believe you need a shapes.txt in your GTFS data for OTP to work.  You'll just get a funky travel path for the bus on the map that doesn't match the actual travel path in places, since OTP will just be playing connect-the-dots between sequential bus stops.

If you need shapes.txt, you can look at this tool by Brandon Martin-Anderson to create one:
