Post-meeting notes

Hey All,

Adina, Mark (Simon) and I had a good meeting at the SamTrans building on Monday. Mostly, we talked about logistics, most of which will be covered by the awesome SamTrans building infrastructure already:

- Trash - we just need to do a sweep of the rooms at the end of the day and they have a service that will take care of the rest

- Wifi - they have a pretty strong signal on their guest account...password caltrain

- Lunchroom - good

- 5 rooms in total - 2 large ones on the 2nd floor (one of them a nice theatre, complete with lighting and stage), 3 conference rooms on the 3rd floor (whiteboards in two of them)

The event will run on Saturday, September 16 from 10-6 and we will serve coffee/muffins in the morning and lunch.

So far, we have raised $300, thanks to Google (yay Google!), but will probably need one more donation of $300 to cover the rest of the costs.

What Adina and I discussed briefly after the meeting was the need to get all of you talking to people about signing up. Currently, we are at about 35 people, but I know we can do better. Developers at agencies? People on your team or supervisors that should be there?

I was also going to make a poster and put it on this list in PDF form so people could print it and post it in their workplaces.
