Friday location meeting at SamTrans/Caltrain Offices

For anyone who is interested (and I really really hope there is...'cause I can't do this alone), there is a 10:00 a.m. Friday location meeting at the SamTrans/Caltrain offices:

1250 San Carlos Ave.
San Carlos, CA 94070-1306

Date: Friday, August 8, 2008

Time: 10:00 a.m.

We still need sponsors (would love to have a few more companies step up to donate money for coffee and lunch). We need to coordinate volunteers to help set up and clean up. Other than that, it will be a tour of the facility to see what the location is all about.

Please indicate whether you can make it.

To be there on Friday at 10am, I'd need to be able to take a conference
call with network access between 9 and 10. Would that be possible?

I’m flying that day at 10 am so I won’t even be able to conference in.  Sorry.   I would be happy to sponsor though.  How much money are we talking?  I’d like to put up two banners: one for InformArt, and one for GaryAir.

 

Glad to hear about Zimride’s funding.  Will be great to see if we can come up an open rideshare ecosystem.  I hope the old business models of trying to corner/monopolize a market are a thing of the past.  This TCBA may be very telling in that regard.

Turns out I can't make Friday. In answer to the original questions about
preferred times I didn't include Friday because I have standing meetings
on Fridays, and I was unable to decommit to those standing meetings.

Awesome! I'll confirm 10:00 a.m. at the SamTrans/Caltrain offices with Mark. It should be fairly quick...under an hour or so. A quick tour and jotting down of things we still need to do.

Sorry, I'm a no-go this time around, both for the mtg tomorrow
(pre-existing East Bay appt.) and the camp itself (subbing for a
neighbor as a host for the Older Women's League (OWL) at my cohousing
neighborhood Sat. AM and a marin wedding mid-Sat. and the need to do
local community-organizing outreach around TOD, smart growth, and
sustainable communities at the Solano Stroll on Sunday). Drat.
