Hi all:

I'm looking forward to seeing some of you at TransitCampBayArea2 this
weekend.

In anticipation, I'd like to share a soon-to-be published interview I
had the pleasure of conducting with Bibiana McHugh and Tim McHugh of
Trimet (the folks who've brought the world developer.trimet.org, and
the first agency on Google Transit, among other distinctions).

You can download the text of the interview as a PDF here:
www.trilliumtransit.com/files/Trimet%20data%20publishing%20interview.pdf

The practices of using open source software and exposing transit data
have worked well for Trimet and they are enthusiastic proponents.
Please feel free to share this interview with folks at transit
agencies (or, if you work at a transit agency, with your bosses).

This interview will soon be published in More Riders Magazine: www.moreriders.com

Cheers,
Aaron

Nice work, Aaron (and Bibiana and Tim)! This kind of outreach, aimed
at transit agency marketing departments and decision-makers, really
helps the cause of open transit data.

BTW, for the PDF-averse, Aaron also posted an HTML version on his blog:
