Progress on transit hacking

Hey all,

It's been a little quiet around these parts since the workshop, so
I'll share a little bit of what I've been working on.

Built a little processing pipeline that'll pull GTFS data from the ftp
site, get the lat/lngs for each trip, parse them into encoded
polylines/levels and save them in a separate table with their
shape_ids, export it to the website's db, and finally produce a
aggregate trips table that'll give a more summarized view of each
trip. Further work will of course include incorporating stop and
timepoint information in along with real-time positions of buses.

Any work you've all been up to since October? I've been working at a
very leisurely pace :P
