automated frequency map

Very interesting post about a fellow who made a Chicago transit
frequency map using CTA's GTFS feed:

If you follow the link to his blog, he says it was basically like this:

1. read GTFS into DB (MS Access unfortunately)

2. manipulate to add a column for not only arrival times but also
previous arrival times for each stop

3. translate latitude/longitude to xy using http://kml2svg.free.fr/

4. create maps in Inkscape
