Hi,

For the field Avg_Volume, the documentation explains it like this:

The average of the number of vehicles entering
and exiting the link during the time increment

So, how is this calculated ?

Let's assume at the start time, there is inflow of 4 and outflow of 2.
Let's assume at the end time (after 15 min), there is inflow of 6 and outflow of 2.

From the above data, how is this calculated ?

Regards,
Sibi

Also, what is the unit of Avg_Volume ? Is it number of vehicles / second  or number of vehicles / minutes ?

Regards,
Sibi

May be I am wrong but based on what I remember,

the avg_volume is the average for the whole time assigned at the parameter of "OUTPUT_SUMMARY_INCREMENT_X". For example if the

OUTPUT_SUMMARY_INCREMENT_X                   900

So this 900 is in seconds, or 15 minutes. So in the whole 15 minutes if there are 10 vehicles enter into the link and 4 vehicles exit from the link. So the avg_volume should be 7.

Regarding unit..if you assigned 900, so the avg volume 7 vehicle in 15 min.
