Transims version 5 case study datasets

Dear all,

Does anyone have the datasets for transims version 5? I read the hands-on material saying three datasets (Case1, TestNet, and Alexandria) are available. But I can find the datasets for version 5 online. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Just to update my question. I find the program NewFormat can convert version 4 to version 5. I'm thinking is there any existing dataset that contains all new required data and control files. Thanks.

Version 5 is fairly  backwards compatible, in that the basic input files (input links, nodes, zones and trips) are the same as in version 4.  The version 5 network  and trip files are created when you run TransimsNet, Intcontrol, and ConvertTrips. 

 

Documentation (Beta version) exists on the most important version 5 programs.  See

The Program References contain examples of control files, and the File Reference describes the fields in the network and trip files.  Also, in Version 5, you can *create* a control file by running the program with the –C flag.

There are some typos in those documents. Here I attached the modified files for the tinyexample case study. Hope to save some times if anyone wants to play with version 5.

Hi Scott,

Is there a way that I can have some example control files for PlanPrep and Simulator since these two are modified in version 5? The version 5 documents don't have files for these two programs. Thanks.

It has been quite a while since I have used the V5 simulator, but here are a few files that you should probably be able to adapt.  The first is a PlanPrep control file, and the second is a Simulator control file.
