Transifex <http://transifex.org/>
Integrated translation platform
Comment (by glezos):
Good idea, although it could be tricky to implement *right*. Can you
please provide some URLs and screenshots on how this feature could look
like? Eg. in the statistics interface, the popups with the string/word
counts and the command-line tool?

Comment (by glezos):
Thinking out loud here: Localized images could very well be supported by
the current engine. They could be represented as separate resources which
are of 'binary' format. Transifex could story them as a BLOB object. If
there is an uploaded object for a language, it's translated 100% (1 out of
1), if not, it's 0% (0/1). To collect the statistics there could either be
a special Release or Resource Categories (to be implemented).
The UI would need some tweaks, but the core engine will simply require
another file format, named Binary File.

The next questions are: how many projects do you know that need this, and
are you willing to provide a patch?

Well, I created this ticket because of the Fedora Docs Project. But I can
imagine that almost every documentation project using Tx might need such a
feature at some point.

Sorry, not enough coding skills.
