When setting the profile, the Twitter field could ask only for the login,
URLs will always remain http://twitter.com/<login> after all.
PS: I have set the version to 0.7.2 but it is 0.7.3, the former is not
available in the combobox

Hi,
This is a really old ticket that refers to an obsolete version of
Transifex. All URLs are 404ing and the patches wouldn't be applicable
anyway as in the current version the implementation is completely
different. The Twitter field is filled automatically when linking your
Twitter account and this is the format used by the Twitter API for the
user profile.
We're in the process of cleaning up old tickets from Trac, as it will be
taken down soon, so I'm sorry if some really old ones got closed without
an explanation.
