Sorry for the long email, if you don't want to read it all then scroll
to
the bottom where I summarized it for the lazy :)

It has been a crazy couple of months hasn't it? I would personally
like to thank
every single resident of Mysteria for their patience and understanding
while
we went through the biggest mess Transformus has had to date. It took
a
while for things to settle down, but I can say with 100% certainty
that we
are back to normal and completely on track for the our journey to the
mountain.

I wanted to talk for a second about the ticketing system. Yes, when we
first
got it setup, after we were sabatoged, it was missing some features,
but
even though the ability to do a few things wasn't there, the new
system is
100% stable, it has been that way all along contrary to reports I have
been
hearing. One of the things the guy that we caught trying to sell fake
gate
codes said was "well, if you had designed a better ticketing system I
would
not have been able to do what I did"....LOL, I had to remind him that
he got
caught pretty quickly due to our system.

*On to the important stuff.*

*GATE CODES*
If you have purchased gate codes from anyone, other than directly from
Transformus.com, and have not had the gate codes transferred into your
name,
please email me asap, you NEED to have the gate codes in your name,
the only
exception to this is people driving together....but if you code is
with John
Smith, and John is not standing next to you when you arrive, then get
that
code transferred into your own account on the site. Please make sure
that,
if you don't have one already, you sign up for an account on
Transformus.com, that way when you email me I can do the transfer
instantly
and not have to email you back telling you to set up an account. :)

*THE WEBSITE*
As you may have already heard, *the website is getting a complete
overhaul*,
we look to have the new one up by September, maybe earlier. If you
have an
account on Transformus.com then don't worry about having to register
on a
new site again, your login and passwords will be the same on the new
site. Some
things you can look for on the new site are user blogs, photo
galleries,
member profiles, private messaging, groups, event calendar, live
chat....the
list goes on and on.
Why I am telling you this is because I need your help, especially if
you
have a writing background. I have many topics that need written about,
and I
figured what better time to think about those topics, than while you
are
there! I am gathering a list now, but if you are interested please go
to the
web team page on the site and sign up for the writing content
volunteer
position slot. The master list of exact topics will be ready in a few
days,
so please get in that volunteer slot now, as I will only be mailing
those
people that signed up.

*THE DISCUSSION LISTS*
Many of you have been emailing saying that unsubscribing from the
lists is
too hard, and while I think those people have trouble reading or
following
directions, I will give a few pointers to make using the lists MUCH
easier.
All these are commands are done by sending them in the subject line of
a
blank email to *LISTNAME-request at lists.transformus.com* (replace
LISTNAME
with the name of the list)

subscribe to the list* - subscribe*
unsubscribe from the list* - unsubscribe*
change password* - password oldpassword newpassword*
stop email - *set nomail on password*
restart email - *set nomail off password*
turn on digest mode* - set digest on password*
turn off digest mode* - set digest off password*

example in case you need help:
If i wanted to unsubscribe from the Announcements List, I would create
an
email with the address made out to *announce-request at
lists.transformus.com*,
and the subject of that email would be *unsubscribe*. Then I would hit
send.
