Work/Play Weekend at Deerfields

There will be a Work/Play Weekend at Deerfields on June 6th and 7th. You may arrive on Friday the 5th after 5 PM, but the gates will be shut at nightfall. There WILL NOT BE any musical performances or performers, performing at the upcoming Work/Play weekend. Boom boxes, canned music, or acoustic "sing around the campfire" will be okay.

 

The project for this year's gift to the land will be construction of a new bridge to the lower lake from the main road area, near the bus turn around. Other projects may also be available, so bring gloves, gravel rakes, shovels, loppers, whatever you think might be useful. A chain saw is always handy. We have some wood left from the Town Hall Meeting in April, so there will be fire. Oh yes, there will be fire.

 

As always, this is a LNT event...what you bring in you take home with you.
