At the landowners’ request, Deerfields is unavailable for our work/play this weekend due to recent weather. Mother Nature has dumped buckets of rain onto North Carolina this Spring with Mills River receiving 9.18 inches in May alone. Deerfields is a Temperate Rainforest environment, and we have to deal with that reality.

This is upsetting to all of us, and as an alternative to those who took off work this weekend to spend time with the Transforms family I am hosting a Meet & Greet at my home in Charlotte (details forthcoming) Saturday night.

A board member and team lead made a surprise visit to the property on Friday to confirm it is indeed unable to be used. Our webmaster is sending emails to several distribution lists this evening so everyone’s aware. So sorry for this last minute news everyone!
