Dear Members,
Thank you for being a part of this movement.
Second Step:
1. Finalizing the website domain name:
We think we need to finalize the domain name of our movement as early
as possible. If you have suggestions in this regard then please feel
free to drop in a mail back to us.
Pranab Says: As far as possible,we choose one domain name with .COM
extension as it has added advantages(search engine page ranks etc )
over the other domain names. And we are not forming any organization or
anything of that sort so it's not mandatory that we use choose domain
names ending with .ORG or
ORG.IN extensions. Even though we use .COM
extension,we can keep the site free from ads.How about a global
name,like how we have
mint.com, or
flickr.com. or "zoho" or "dopplr"
etc. Something very simple.I mean, what does "skype" mean anyway? So how
about something like "
mic.org" or "
ping.org" or a mono/bi-syllabilic
hindi word like "hum" or "yelo" or "manch" or "pollkhol", or "chalo"
or etc.Thing with janvichar/manch/socho is that someone from, umm...
china for example, would not understand it.
And I KNOW that our idea has global application.... in a historical
sense, but ofcourse preferably when we are all still alive! :-)
Thoughts?
2. Begin the technical set up process of the proposed website at the
earliest:
a) Should we seek web professionalz help?
b) Do you have any web designer or programmer friend who can code for
us with minimal fee or for free for this cause? :)
c) Do you have any contacts who can help us in setting up the site?
Pranab Says:
Hi All,
For any pro help, Convio CMS is the perfect match for our project.I
wonder how much they charge for coding one website but yes we can talk
to one customer care executive of that firm. For more on convio, visit
