Amsterdam, 8/2/2011 – Nog enkele dagen, en dan is het te laat!
15 Februari is de laatste dag dat je jouw film kunt insturen voor
TranScreen, het Amsterdam Transgender Filmfestival 2011. Heb je een
film gemaakt die op de één of andere manier raakt aan het thema
‘transgender’, dan is Transcreen jouw podium!
Of je film nu kort is of lang, fictie of documentaire, geacteerd of animatie, om te lachen, te huilen, te prikkelen of om over na te denken, eigenlijk is alles goed, zolang je werk maar raakt aan de grenzen van het man- en vrouw-zijn.
Laat deze editie niet aan je voorbij gaan. Denk niet dat je film niet op TranScreen past. Stuur je productie als preview DVD, voorzien van een synopsis op papier. De master mag uiteindelijk in één van de volgende formaats zijn: 35 mm, 16 mm, Beta SP, Pal Digi Beta, Mini DV Pal, Mini DV NTSC, PAL DVD, NTSC DVD, maar stuur alléén previews (geen master) naar:

Transcreen is de opvolger van het Nederlands Transgender Filmfestival, dat tussen 2001 en 2009 tweejaarlijks werd gehouden. TranScreen vindt plaats van 1 t/m 5 juni en wordt georganiseerd door de Stichting TransMotion, gevestigd te Amsterdam, KvK-nummer 34394047.

Amsterdam, 8/2/2011 – Only a few days left, then you’ll be too late! February 15th is the last day you can send in your film for TranScreen, the Amsterdam Transgender Filmfestival 2011. If you have made a film which in one way or another deals with the theme ‘transgender’ then TranScreen is your theatre!
Wether your film is short or feature length, animation or with actors, to laugh or to cry about, to anger or to ponder, anything goes as long as it explores the boundaries between genders.
Don’t let this edition pass you by. Don’t think your film won’t fit our criteria. So come on, send a preview copie of your production now! The master screener may finally be in one of the following formats: 35 mm, 16 mm, Beta SP, Pal Digi Beta, Mini DV Pal, Mini DV NTSC, PAL DVD, NTSC DVD. Enclose a synopsis on paper and your contact details and send the preview (no master) to:

TranScreen is the new name for the Dutch Transgender Filmfestival, which was held bi-annually from 2001 untill 2009. It will be held from June 1-5, 2011, and is organized by Stichting TransMotion (the TransMotion Foundation) in Amsterdam.
