The Portland Bureau of Transportation is seeking volunteers to become Active Transportation Ambassadors.
Ambassadors are volunteers who represent the bureau at community events and
through various activities to educate the public about all of the ways to get
around Portland. Ambassadors get an inside look at what it takes to create one
of the best bicycling and walking cities in North America, and help make it
even more so. Examples of activities are tabling at neighborhood fairs,
assisting with annual bicyclist and pedestrian counts, assisting with bike
rides and walks, office tasks like data processing, helping with Safe Routes to
School, and many more.
You can find more info on the Ambassador Program webpage. If you are interested in becoming an Active Transportation Ambassador, fill out this application by Wednesday, March 28th, 2018.
