Apple & Oats Cake
Ingredients:
Apples: 6 Large Peeled & Grated
Lemon Juice: 2 Teaspoon
Oats: 1 3/4 Cup
Flour: 1 2/3 Cup
Butter: 150 Gram Cold
Sugar: 3/4 Cup + 1 Teaspoon for Topping
Cinnamon Powder: 1 Teaspoon
Directions:
1- Preheat oven to 180 C & prepare a cake pan with baking paper.
2- In a large bowl mix flour, oats and sugar. In a separate bowl grate peeled apples and mix them with fresh lemon juice and set aside.
3- For the first cake layers, grate 2 tablespoons of cold butter on the bottom of the pan, spread 3 or 4 tablespoons of the oats mixture then lightly press. Divide the shredded apples into 3 parts and oats mixture into 4 parts.
4- Spread 1/3 of the apple mixture evenly then spread 1/4 of the oat mixture. Repeat the same process two more times. Finally grate remaining of cold butter on top of the cake and sprinkle 1 tablespoon sugar.
5- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown on top. Let cool for 20 minutes, release from the pan and let it cool completely.
