Dear Friends,
The Obama administration is filling a lot of entry-level jobs rights now in all
kinds of agencies. I would love to be able to send them resumes from trans
folks who are near the beginning of their careers. Specifically, they are
looking for folks who just graduated from college, law school, or some other
graduate program—or even who are in the middle of law school or another graduate
program.
If you are in this position or know another trans person who is, please email me
directly at smi...@nclrights.org.
Of course there are absolutely no guarantees, but I would like to be able to
forward resumes to be sure that our community is in the mix as these positions
are being filled. I am in DC almost full time now so I have had a chance to
make some good connections with administration folks who are supportive of our
community.
