Folks,

I'm translating the game Packing Peanuts to Spanish, but actually can't find a suitable translation for Packing Peanuts.
I know that Packing Peanuts (or Foam peanut) are those common loose-fill packaging and cushioning material used to prevent damage to fragile objects during shipping made of polystyrene (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Packing_peanuts), but I don't know how those things are named in Spanish.
Any ideas? Thoughts?

Thanks

Hola,
en el catálogo de material de oficina que tenemos a eso lo llaman "material de relleno"... Muy poco explicativo, me temo.

Hi Teresa,

I think "material de relleno" is fine. This would be my translation
for portuguese, too - "material de recheio"
But it raises the question: filling what? A cake, for example?

Maybe we add the word "box" getting:

Spanish: Material de Relleno de Caja
Portuguese: Material de Recheio de Caixa

What you all say?

I agree "material de relleno" as you can check here: http://www.logismarket.es/relleno-proteccion-embalaje/1124946-cp.html

I have created a new sheet to have a commun glossary. As you know files in going groups are going to desappear.

Kind regard,s
Angel
