Hi everyone
Ostia recorded with TransCom for the Abstraction compilation back in
the 90's and have remained a force of ethereal loveliness ever
since. Amps and Kylie - the core of Ostia have more recently
recorded as Friends of Alice Ivy, including their recent reworking
of The Isle's most recent single La femme Exotique - available now
on iTunes. Anyway important 'Ivy news ahead... be sure to register
with them.

Dear Friends,
A new EP by Ostia side-project "Friends of Alice Ivy" is due to
be released on 15th August 2011. The new CD, titled "In the
Gloaming" is Friends of Alice Ivy's first new work since
"Hereafter Moth" was released in September 2008. The new EP
builds on the ethereal beauty of its predecessor, with a heavier
focus on harps, strings and atmosphere.
"In the Gloaming" features contributions from Suspiria's Mark
Tansley, Roberto Massaglia from The Victim's Ball, and Ostia
guitarist Justin Bartlett.
A free download single, "The Summerland Meadows" is available
from Friends of Alice Ivy's website at
http://www.friendsofaliceivy.com;
we also hope to announce details of a very special EP launch show
soon! The new EP can also be pre-ordered via the website.
Friends of Alice Ivy would love to know what you think of their
new work, and can be contacted via
hereaf...@gmail.com.
Our very best wishes to you!
