I've tried resetting sony vegas, try restarting my computer and etc. I've even tried to change my setting on by one, and it seems the only problem is the resolution. Whenever I tried to change the resolution/aspect ratio to 16:9 its fixed, but when I turn it to 1:1 it gives me the error. I need help!
I've used Premiere before but there's something about it that feels really clunky to me. It could just be that I'm very used to Vegas Pro's controls and interface, but I'm not really a big fan of how things are done in Premiere. Problem is, Vegas Pro isn't on Mac. I'm gonna be doing video editing with some effects work, a lot of motion tracking, and anything else I can use to make dumb internet videos as well as some more professional editing. The program doesn't have to be close to Vegas (because I'm very aware of how a lot of people don't like it as an editing program) but it would be nice.
You can also save presets for each effect in there, like gaussian blur, so you can easily switch between multiple looks. Also try adding a brightness and contrast effect into that effect chain, after the invert, but before the blur, and play with those settings to see if you can make it pop more.
I did go to the Help link in Vegas and found that you have the option to "move here" or "copy here" when dragging a clip, I selected "move here" and it still copied... It's making it very difficult to get anything switched around when they keep layering on top of each other, and since I am new to this program I don't want to mess with all the features and make things worse.

Doubt there is anything wrong with Vegas here, but maybe (game output not my speciality). More likely a footage interpretation issue or project setting. So.... what are your media details and what are your project settings? Also, did you by any chance set something in the track motion or track level pan/crop ?
Notice that in the first pic (even though there's colour corrections in it), the radial blur effects blends well and you can't specifically see the oval lines anywhere. Whereas in the 2nd pic, there simply appears to be an oval (which pixelates the entire clip) with blurs that are detatched and un-blended around it.
Here it is. You can clearly see that in yours, there appears to be no "Oval" cut-off, and the blurs blend in with the radius nicely giving a full effect. Whereas in his photo, there appears to be an unusual cut-off in the shape of an Oval where the radial blurs disconnect.
Also, will turning off that GPU setting slow down the rendering or processing times at all? If so, by how much (estimate), and is there any way to turn that setting on without getting that glitch? Or will we have to wait for an update to fix it?
So there's alot of hate in the TSF thread for Sony Vegas. I can totally understand that. It's really buggy and the default settings will screw you over. Half the time I can't even import media without restarting the program. It's not even close to being worth the absurdly high price they're asking for it. However, I am here to help. I lacked the patience to learn AVISynth and I already know my way around Vegas. I'm here to show you how to prevent Sony Vegas from creating a terrible video.
If you wanna make an uncompressed AVI to use in AVISynth or MeGUI later, that's cool too. I suggest exporting with Lagarith as sony vegas's "Uncompressed" codec will fill your hard drive faster than Fraps ever could.

GPU Acceleration: An NVIDIA GPU with compute capability 3.5 (Kepler) or above. More information can be found here, under "Supported GPUs". We recommend using the latest NVIDIA Studio drivers, where possible. METAL enabled cards are supported on Mac OS. If no GPU is available, Sapphire will render in CPU mode.
Sapphire 2022 features faster speeds and shorter render times in Adobe After Effects with improved support for multi-frame rendering. On average, Sapphire renders are more than 20% quicker with MFR. Individual results can vary based on many factors (CPU, comp size, bit depth, etc). Check out our benchmark results here.
The Sapphire 2020 Preset Browser adds a built-in Compare Mode feature that allows users to preview the original unfiltered source with the filtered output using either side-by-side or wipe bar options. This new feature is especially useful on color correction or grading where you might want to preview adjacent clips in the timeline while working on the filtered source.

You have the capacity to work with HD, 4K, and 8K resolution footage, and it gives you the capacity to enhance footage that has been created at a lower resolution. VEGAS Pro appreciates that the visual is only one side of the story, which is why there is a great suite of editing tools too. The program comes as a standalone purchase or as a subscription.
It can be quite challenging to find a program that meets all of your needs. VEGAS Pro comes close with the OFX and other great features. However, the price tag, the learning curve required, or simply the style of the interface could have you looking for a program that feels more comfortable for you. There are other alternatives for you to try.
Another popular tool among professionals is DaVinci Resolve. There are over 250 functions to choose from, including video stabilization and color correction. It is particularly good when it comes to collaboration, which means different experts within a production team can use it to achieve the finished product.
If you work with graphical editing and compositing, then HitFilm Pro might appeal. The video effects are advanced, and it comes with audio editing tools and effects to match. There is a strong focus on compositor effects while maintaining more traditional features.
One of the few problems I had during my countless video editing sessions was related to the MKV format, also known as Matroska: a free, open-standard multimedia container format that can hold an unlimited number of video, audio, picture, or subtitle tracks in one single file. Originally released in 2002, the Matroska container has quickly become the de-facto standard for storing common multimedia content, like movies or TV shows, vastly beating AVI, MP4, FLV, OGV, ASF and all the other viable alternatives in terms of adoption and popularity. Among the many reasons for its success there is the fact that Matroska is entirely open in specification, with implementations consisting mostly of open source software.
