Hey Team.
Beeper Desktop updated, started reconnecting procedure on Mac and rhis is where it stops: Error: spawn /Applications/Beeper.app/Contents/Resources/mac-registration-provider/mac-registration-provider-universal ENOENT Get Help
Run this command in terminal and it should generate a code you can copy and paste back into the registration field:
/Applications/Beeper.app/Contents/Resources/mac-registration-provider/mac-registration-provider-universal
I have jailbroken my iPhone and installed beeperserv. This all seems to work but no code is being shown. I have tried all the troubleshooting and SSHed in but there is also no .beepserv_state. Thoughts?
Alternatively is there any possibility that the iPhone in the future can have an app act as the bridge server, and not require the secondary server? I would pay a flat app fee or possibly monthly even for just that.
I should have read the steps first. It looks like the Mac or Linux is only needed to jailbreak your iPhone that needs to be left on for Beeper Mini. I was conflating the Beeper Mini setup and requirements with the Beeper Cloud ones.
Good afternoon, All! I lost my Imessage connection and am no longer able to send or receive. I have followed all of the best practices and instructions for Imessage with a Mac. Anyone else have their Imessage go down in the past week?
Creating and signing in to your Samsung account helps you stay up to date on system updates and recall notices. You'll also be able to access device-specific troubleshooting and manage your warranty status. A Samsung account also allows you to back up, restore, and sync data across multiple devices, find lost devices, and access exclusive apps, like SmartThings and Samsung Pay.
Note: Available settings and screens may vary by wireless service provider, software version, and device. When signing in to an account, you may be asked to verify your identity using two-step verification.
You can use the Samsung Members app to register your products! The app lets you conveniently scan a device's QR code or barcode instead of manually entering it. You can also scan for devices over Wi-Fi if they're connected to the internet.
Register using a QR code: To identify your device's serial number through a QR code, tap Scan under QR code, and then tap OK. Line up your phone's camera with the device's QR code. Make sure you use the barcode on the device itself, not on the packaging. When the device is found, follow the on-screen instructions to register it.
Register using Wi-Fi: To search for your device through your connected Wi-Fi network, tap Scan under Wi-Fi, and allow the necessary permissions. Then, follow the on-screen instructions to register your device. Not all devices support Wi-Fi registration.
Scan the barcode or manually enter: To scan a barcode on your device or manually enter its numbers, tap Enter info under Manual input or barcode. Select your device type (phone, watch, TV, etc.). From here, you can enter the necessary information. If you'd like to scan a barcode, tap the barcode icon next to your desired option, such as Model name. When you're finished entering or scanning, tap Register.
When registering a product to your Samsung account, you will need to enter some information about your device. Some mobile devices (like phones or LTE tablets) require you to enter an IMEI number, while appliances and other devices require a serial number and model number. However, keep in mind that if you can sign into your Samsung account on the device, that will automatically register it to your Samsung account.
If you are unable to provide this information, you will need to look up the general warranty information for your device. To do this, navigate to the Warranty page on the Samsung website, and use the different categories to find your specific device and its warranty information.
There are a few reasons why you may not be able to register a device to your Samsung account. For example, you won't be able to register a phone if it's unlocked, rooted, pre-production, a non-US model, or purchased from a retailer not intended for the US.
I reset the TV but it still shows as registered: When the TV is reset, it won't be removed as a registered device. If you need to edit or update your account info or view your registered products, you can access your account online.
Cannot register international device in Samsung Members: If you are trying to access Samsung Members from outside the US, or access the phone with a Samsung account from outside the US, you will not be able to register your device.
The scam works like this. Whenever someone tries to register a WhatsApp account on a mobile phone they give WhatsApp a phone number. WhatsApp sends an SMS verification code to the mobile phone number they have been given, to verify that the number is active and that the user trying to register the account really owns the number.
For a higher level of security on WhatsApp, you are advised to not only never share your six-digital registration code, but also enable two-step verification, restrict who can view your profile photo, and be cautious about transferring money with contacts unless you have confirmed their identity.
WhatsApp offers further advice on how to recover your account if it has been stolen from you, and recommends that you log out of all computers from your phone if you still believe someone might be using your account via WhatsApp Web/Desktop.
To register your mobile device, you must login through Launchpad using your NASA PIV badge. Before going forward, make sure your PIV badge is inserted into the badge reader of the computer you are currently using. If the computer you are using does not have a badge reader, you must use a computer that does in order to continue the registration process. Mac machines are currently not supported for PIV badge login.
With your PIV badge inserted into the computer card reader, open an Internet browser session and navigate to My CIMA Registrations. With the use of your PIV badge you will automatically be authenticated via Launchpad into the site. If you are directed to the Launchpad login page instead of being automatically authenticated please ensure the PIV badge is properly inserted into the card reader.
From the My CIMA Registrations page, click the New CIMA Registration button. Once a new dialog box appears enter the chosen name of the mobile device that is being registered. Please note this name is required only to assist the user in identifying the mobile device they are registering. The name does not need to correspond to the specific model of the phone. For example, you may choose to enter a name such as Work iPhone. Next, select the type of device being registered. Lastly, select if the device is a government supplied (GFE) or is user owned (BYOD).
IMPORTANT: The registration code will be displayed in a dialog box. Please ensure you have written down the code or successfully entered the code from the device registration screen (Step 5). Once the dialog box is closed it will no longer be available.
To enter the registration code displayed on the dialog, open a CIMA enterprise app (such as WebTADS mobile) on your mobile device. From the "Enter yor NASA Derived Credential Registration Code" screen, enter the registration displayed within the dialog box. The QR code scanner on the login screen can also be used to scan the QR code from the previous dialog. This will insert the registration code automatically.
Once the registration is entered, select done and the registration code will be verified. Upon successful verification, the device will be enrolled, and you can secure the credential with a 6 digit PIN and use your CIMA derived credential to login to NASA applications.
