In groups, students can view the same page layout with the name of the page, creation dates, and edit dates. They can also add new pages in a group [1]. In the Options icon [2], they can edit, delete, or use a page as the front page for a group. Students can use the Delete button [3] to delete selected pages for a group.

Each document window contains a toolbar, which gives one-click access to commonly used functions such as inserting objects (text boxes, shapes, tables, charts, and comments), uploading the document to iWork.com, and adding additional pages. In addition, the document window contains a contextual format bar that allows one-click formatting of text and adjustments to images. When text is selected, the format bar enables users to choose fonts, text size, and color, and to adjust line spacing and alignment. When an image is selected, the format bar displays tools to adjust opacity, show and hide shadow and reflection effects and mask the image.[9] A separate Inspector window provides almost all formatting options available for any element in the open document.

Other than accessing iCloud through a browser, no program can officially view or edit a Pages file using Windows or Linux. Some content can be retrieved from a document created in Pages '09 because a .pages file is a bundle. A user can open a .pages file in an unpackaging program or by renaming files as .zip files in Windows (XP and onwards) and will find either a .jpg or .pdf preview in its entirety for viewing and printing, although this is only possible if the creator of the .pages files elected to include a preview. The user will also find a .xml file with unformatted text.[16] This process can also be used for users of the 2008 version of Pages to open documents saved in the 2009 version of Pages, which are not backward compatible.

For example, you can have an About Page as a parent page and create subpages under it for Careers, Board of Directors, Locations, Company Culture, Press etc. You can also have a Services Page as a parent page and create subpages for each of the services such as Web Design, Web Development, Stationery Design etc

Repeat the process for your other sub pages you want to be disapled under a Parent page, but use higher numbers for the Order field: 2, 3, etc. This tells WordPress to display these pages second and third on your site.

A template controls the layout of your pages. Not to be confused with Themes (that set the design of your entire site), the template affects the look and feel of an individual page (or post) or groups of pages (or posts.)

Individual pages can be set to use a specific Page Template created within your theme. You can also create custom Page Templates that can be used for a page. These custom Page Templates will then override the default Page Template included with your Theme.

In contrast, dynamic pages, such as those created with WordPress, need to be regenerated every time they are viewed. The code for what needs to be generated on the page has been specified by the theme author, and not the actual page itself. They use extensive PHP code which is evaluated each time the page is visited, and the entire page is generated upon each new visit.

Changes you make to your WordPress settings, Themes, and Templates will not be propagated to pages coded only in HTML. The Page feature of WordPress was developed to alleviate this problem. By using Pages, you no longer have to update your static pages every time you change the style of your site. If written properly, your dynamic Pages will update along with the rest of your blog.

Unbounce landing pages have helped businesses turn billions of visitors into leads, sales, and signups. (Literally.) Combining that data with AI, Unbounce lets you create custom landing pages twice as fast as old-school builders.

Oh. And get way better results, too.

A parent page (previously known as master page) is like a background that you can quickly apply to many pages. Objects on a parent page appear on all pages applied. Parent page items that appear on document pages are surrounded by a dotted border. Changes you make to a parent page are automatically applied to associated pages that commonly contain repeating logos, page numbers, headers, and footers. They can also contain empty text or graphic frames that serve as placeholders on document pages. A parent item cannot be selected on a document page unless overridden.

Parents can have multiple layers, just like pages in your document. Objects on a single layer have their own stacking order within that layer. Objects on a parent page layer appear behind objects assigned to the same layer in the document page.

By default, any document you create has a parent page. You can create additional parents from scratch or from an existing parent page or document page. After you apply parent pages to other pages, any changes made to the source parent carry forward to the parents and document pages that are based on it. With careful planning, this provides an easy way to make layout changes to multiple pages across your document.

You can create a parent variation that isbased on and updates with another parent (called the parentparent) within the same document. The parent spreads basedon the parent parent are called child parents. Forexample, if your document has ten chapters that use parent spreadsthat vary only slightly, base all of them on a parent spread thatcontains the layout and objects common to all ten. This way, a changeto the basic design requires editing just the parent parent insteadof editing all ten separately. Vary the formatting on your child parents. You can override parent parent items on a child parent to createvariations on a parent, just as you can override parent items ondocument pages. This is a powerful way to keep a consistent yetvaried design up to date.

You can edit the layout of parent pages at anytime; changes you make are automatically reflected on all pageswith that parent applied. For example, any text or graphic you addto a parent will appear on document pages to which the parent isapplied.

When you unassign a parent from a page, its layout and items no longer apply to the page. If a parent contains most of the elements you want, but you need to customize the appearance of a few pages, you can override parent items and edit or modify them on those document pages instead of unassigning the parent.

You can copy parents within the same documentor from one document to another to use as the starting point fora new parent. You can also copy parents to other documents whenyou synchronize documents in a book or import parent pages fromanother document.

Select the parent you want to move or copy. ChooseLayout > Pages > Move Parent, and choosethe destination document name from the Move To menu. If you wantto remove the page or pages from the source document, select DeletePages After Moving, and then click OK.

You can importparents from another InDesign document (any version) into the activedocument. If your destination document contains parent pages thathave different names from any parent page in the source document, those pages and their document page overrides will be unchanged.

Once you have imported parents from a source document,a link is set up between the source document and the destinationdocument. When you subsequently load parents from the same sourcedocument, the association between overridden items and their parentitems on reloaded parent pages is maintained. This association letsyou keep parent pages in different documents consistent withoutputting those documents into a book.

If you want to use thismethod of keeping parent pages consistent, you should load the parentpages from the source document before overriding any objects onthe parent. If your document has overridden items and you have never importedparents from any source, those overridden items become detached thefirst time you load from a source document and replace parent pageswith the same name as the parent parent of the overridden items.

An app preview demonstrates the features, functionality, and UI of your app in a short video that users watch directly on the App Store. Previews can be up to 30 seconds long and use footage captured on the device to show the experience of using your app. You can feature up to three app previews on your App Store and Mac App Store product pages, and localize them for all available App Store languages.

They also introduced a few of their fellow artists to talk about Countdown Pages. Starting with Jennifer Lopez: "I'm really excited about Spotify's new Countdown Pages," she said. "Spotify is beginning to roll these pages out to more artists around the world, letting them bring their own personalized strategy to each and every album."

Most of our Search index is built through the work of software known as crawlers. These automatically visit publicly accessible webpages and follow links on those pages, much like you would if you were browsing content on the web. They go from page to page and store information about what they find on these pages and other publicly-accessible content in Google's Search index.

Because the web and other content is constantly changing, our crawling processes are always running to keep up. They learn how often content they've seen before seems to change and revisit as needed. They also discover new content as new links to those pages or information appear.
