When the Spider-Man of his dimension was killed in battle with the Green Goblin, Miles took up the mantle of the fallen hero and became the new Spider-Man.
Born in another alternate reality, teenager Gwen Stacy gained incredible powers when she was bitten by a radioactive spider while on a school field trip. Taking the name Ghost-Spider, Gwen uses her powers to fight evil and help those in need, both in her own dimension and by teaming up with her fellow web warriors from other dimensions.

I made this on Wednesday for my girlfriend's 60th birthday. Oh, my....it was the best chocolate cake I've ever made. My husband loved it too. For his birthday in 3 weeks, he wants the chocolate cake with german chocolate icing.

I baked off these cakes last weekend and have them freezing for Sunday as a father's day treat. I use a scale to measure my ingredients. I was a bit surprised as appearances go I think it may be denser than it should. Either way the batter tasted amazing so I am sure we will enjoy.I am excited about the prospect of the frosting, coffee, mascarpone and sugar, can't go wrong!
This graphic novel is one of the best I have read and it was impossible to put down until I had finished reading it, I would tell anyone who was a fan of the first one, the film or any comic book fans in general to give it a read. You will not be disappointed, and will get everything that was great about the first one turned up about 5 notches. The story line will have you reading the pages as fast as you can to find out what happens next, as the enjoyably, dark and gruesome tale leads up to an amazing climax, and one of the best that I had read.
Mark Millar has created something amazing. Known for his super badass graphic novel Wanted (which also has a movie adaptation), I remember reading the introduction that questioned the reason from going from something incredibly badass to something like this. Writing about the pathetic life of a nobody who just decides to be a superhero? Hardly a story, but Mark Millar ran with it and made it into something awesome. While depreciating and hard to read at times, Mark Millar has created an amazingly original story with unbelievably awesome and original characters.
